Humanoid – Sentient creatures made by the Primus in his image and are capable of worshiping him. While some Annakiim have the shape of men, they are not considered humanoids due to their savagry. The same is true of the fae.
Zaar – Green skinned humanoids who come from someplace beyond Gehinnon
Shar’ot – Humanoids known for their tracking ability who worked for the banes during the first Geninnon war
Orave – Old looking humanoids known for their zealous beliefs
Annakim – Also known as abominations. They are monsters genetically engineered by the Gnostics. It is generally agreed these savage creatures have no soul
The Blessed Church of the Renewal of the Primus – Also known as the Re-constructionist Church. It is the main religion of the Kaenocrats.
Am-Hamiyam – Sea faring barbarians who raid the Thalassain sea coast
Nakri – Barbarians living in the far north
Harakim – Huge humanoid’s that were genetically engineered by the Gnostics but were gifted by the Primus with true souls
Gan-Aiden – Paradice, a place of supreme bliss, worthy souls go there when the person dies.
Gnostics – The society that existed before the Vail was damaged
Automata – Any non-muscle powered machine. The exact definition varies some with the Kadosh include things like wind mills where as the Kaenocrats only include things from the Gnostics
Kesser – Literally containers. The metaphysical constructs holding the Primus’s attributes
The Primus – The creator of all worlds. The first cause.
Gehinnon – The realm of the newly dead and the home of the banes.
Banes – Twisted evil souls who follow the White Dragon.
The White Dragon – Also known as Kiskil-Uddakara. The leader of the banes. According to ledgend the Primus gave her oversight of Gehinnon but she became warped and evil.
The First Gehinnon War The first War between humanity and the banes. It resulted in humanity being enslaved.
The second Gehinnon War – The second less successful invasion of Kadur by the banes lead by Moloch in the name of the White Dragon
The True Church of Kadur – also known as Aemon Kadur Ni’emon. The majority religion that has great influence over the government of the Empire
The Holy Empire of Kadur – Usually shortened to the Empire. The nearly theocratic government of the northern two thirds of Kadur
The Kaenocratic Republic – Usually just called the Kaenocrats. The democratic of southern Kadur.
Horat – The holy book of the True Church of Kadur
Patriarch – The head of the True Church of Kadur
Kadosh – A strict sect of the True Church of Kadur known for its lack of tolerance and military action against sinners.
Mazzakiim – A bane known for their love of violence
Golden Knights – An ecumenical organization dedicated to fighting the enemies of humanity especially the banes.
First Citizen – The leader
Mamluk’s Crusade – A civil war within the Empire over church taxes
Tsadik Accord The peace agreement guaranteeing the temples and peoples of the empire certain rights
Tautau – A medium sized lizard domesticated for food
Kajito – A splinter group from the true Church of Kadur that is actively seeking knowledge and giving it to the people
Namaah – A bane that seduces people into unrighteous acts
Dybuk – A bane that can possess a person’s body.
Lilitu – A bane who uses torture and perversion. They are often used in interrogations.
White Necromancy – A type of magic that commands and uses the dead. It is banned in both the Kaenocratic Republic and the Empire
Golden Necromancy A type of magic that comforts the dead and sends them on to Gehinnon
Akear Olam – Litterally the other world. It is the home of the fae
L’tah – A type of lizzard
Lagos – A trade language used through out Kadur
Davarim – The main language of the Empire
Rhimas – The language of the Kaenocrats
The Brothers of the Dead An ecumenical order who try to comfort the dead and send them on to Gehinnon. Some practice golden necromancy but many others are simply compassionate.
